Early Voting Campaign

A tongue-in-cheek campaign that gave Arapahoe County residents a few ridiculous reasons to vote early.

THE CHALLENGE

Arapahoe County wanted more residents to vote early, but the campaign had to overcome political biases and a negative perception of voting as a whole. We stayed nonpartisan by leaning into humor, pairing over-the-top promises like free donuts for life with bold color and custom illustration. Inspired by mid-century modern illustration, I drew each scene with era-style starbursts, a bit of texture and grit, and characters built from solid white shapes with black linework on top. A cheeky asterisk delivers the real payoff: voting early gives you your time back.
